Director of Technology Innovation

In partnership, Carle and Illinois are seeking an exceptional leader to serve as the first permanent Director of Technology Innovation.
The Director of Technology Innovation will be responsible for implementing programs to enhance education and engagement through the innovative and effective use of technology in teaching and learning. The Director of Technology Innovation will also work collaboratively to establish and maintain academic technologies for medical students and faculty, and monitor for continuous improvement in these systems as well as supervise staff and serve as the liaison between CI COM and campus Technology and Teaching and Learning units.

Positions in Immunology - School of Molecular and Cellular Biology

The School of Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign seeks outstanding applicants for two full-time tenure-track positions in the field of immunology, one at the assistant professor level and one open rank (assistant, associate, or full). The candidates will also be appointed to the new Carle Illinois College of Medicine, which was founded to train physician-innovators at the intersection of engineering and medicine.
We seek immunology candidates that address molecular and cellular biology questions at any level from molecular to cellular to organismal, using cutting-edge experimental approaches including but not limited to advanced imaging, bioinformatics, structural biology, and other quantitative methodologies. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to, immuno-oncology, immunity to infectious agents, the microbiome and immunity, immune system development, neuroimmunology, structural/biophysical immunology, and protein or immune cell engineering.

Assistant Dean for Accreditation and Assessment

The Carle Illinois College of Medicine seeks an exceptionally qualified and experienced individual to serve as the Assistant Dean for Accreditation and Assessment. The Assistant Dean will lead the college in its processes to prepare for and maintain accreditation with national educational accrediting organizations. A member of the Dean’s senior leadership team, the Director of Biomedical Science and Engineering will serve as the principal administrative unit executive officer, leading this unit as an academic department within the College. This position will report directly to the inaugural Dean, Carle Illinois College of Medicine.
